There is without any doubt a need for a Supermarket in Golden Valley. There are my opinion also enough people and customers here to make a Supermarket profitable. It does not have to be a huge Supermarket or a Wal-mart.
The people here who responded so ruthlessly to other people’s needs should be ashamed of themselves. A Supermarket is not a City, County or State charity. A Supermarket is a private or corporate business run for profit. Why would anyone living in Kingman even run their mouth about rejecting a Supermarket in Golden Valley.
I can only see one reason and that is pure greed. You are afraid that Kingman’s Supermarkets and retailers will not receive the revenues they used to get from Golden Valley resident, regardless how much gas and time it costs the Golden Valley residents. You are truly intolerant creatures. Unbelievable!
Whatever happened to your Christian values? No wonder corruption runs rampant in Kingman.
I will personally look into the matter of getting a Supermarket Corporation interested in an investment here in Golden Valley in spite of being extremely busy with my own business and the upcoming 2012 elections here in Mohave County.
A Supermarket here in Golden Valley will not only be cost and time saving for its residents, but also be a convenient place to shop for Groceries for people commuting between Kingman and Bullhead City. Too bad I am not in brick & mortar retail business.
Mohave County will have much improvement to do after the 2012 elections.
