By Elmer Whittaker 11/04/2011Long time Arizona Senator Ron Gould has recently established the formation of an exploratory election committee to run for US Congress, as he has termed out as Arizona Senator.
Although I would have preferred for Ron Gould to stay at "home" and rather run for Supervisor of Mohave County, where he would be badly needed, I will fully support his endeavor to run for US Congress.
In spite that some people here in Mohave County are not so happy with Ron Gould's sometimes maybe a little controversial politics at times, I would like to point out to everyone, that Ron Gould was and is the only Mohave County politician that has acknowledged and spoken out against the problem of corruption in Mohave County openly and even in front of the Arizona Senate.
This alone does distinguish Ron Gould from other run of the mill politicians, makes Ron a true courageous constitutional politician who stands for liberty and justice for all.
I am not aware of even one single other Mohave County elected politician or candidate currently serving as incumbent or running in the 2012 elections, who even has enough courage to utter the word "corruption", for which there is good reason.
Most Mohave County politicians currently serving in office are indeed and utterly corrupt and would not serve themselves well to acknowledge or speak out against corruption. Most of the Mohave County political candidates for public office are tight behind the incumbent either ignoring the problem or even denying the corruption problem all together. Even those candidates that I know of personally to be aware and actually against the corruption in our county are clearly to cowardly to speak out against it.
But, let this be known to all of our incumbents and candidates for 2012. No one will get the support of the truly liberty loving citizens of Mohave County who are aware of the problem that corruption causes, and get their support by ignoring or denying the root of the problems we face here, speak out against it and vow to end the corruption.
Just follow the courageous footsteps of Senator Ron Gould.
The ongoing corruption of the Mohave County government, Law Enforcement and Judicial Branch can and will no longer be tolerated by the good people of Mohave County.
